More March madness for Wizards in Los Angleles

March 22, 2014

It was better than a Hollywood script. It was real. We had fun on the radio and the Wizards defeated the Lakers 117-107. Along with the win, we connected with one of our most loyal listeners.

Rob Embrey, who grew up in McLean, Virginia, listens online to every game from his Los Angeles home and connects like so many of you do with us during the broadcast on Twitter @DJohnsonWTOP and @GCTalks.

Rob brought us Red Vines and Twizzlers licorice and at halftime we had our first ever licorice taste test on Wizards Radio. I remain devoted to Red Vines, while Glenn is solidly in the Twizzlers camp. The licorice debate started during our broadcast from Sacramento.

The Lakers story in :60, LISTEN:

It was on March 22, 2013 when the Wizards beat the Lakers 103-100.
