Webster Shines Through Rough Night in San Antonio

November 14, 2013

The Wizards still have not won in San Antonio since December of 1999. The games over the years have run together, but last night it was a familiar pattern. The Spurs seized control early. The Wizards threatened only to have the Spurs assert themselves in the end for a 92-79 win.

The Wizards did pull to within three points in the third quarter, but then poorly managed possessions allowed the Spurs to go on a decisive run.

On the plus side, Martell Webster had his best game of the season. With Trevor Ariza out in the second half with a hamstring injury, Webster took advantage of more time and finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds.

Hope the Webster montage provides a lift......thanks to Ben Raby for the wonderful production work!

Thanks for all the tweets...appreciated this,,,,

Look forward to Saturday at home.
