OT loss to the Thunder does not cloud Wizards progress

To be sure the Wizards had their chances. Despite missing 13 free throws the Wizards did not get rattled, played through, and pushed the Thunder to the brink. Bradley Beal delivered a career-high 34 points and almost had his second game -winner against the Thunder in less than 12 months.
