Maynor trying to gauge Wall's speed and more.

October 2, 2013

There is one more day of school for the Washington Wizards--sort of. The training camp portion of Wizards preseason ends with an afternoon practice on Wednesday at George Mason University.

Unlike previous years, when there might be two practices in a training  camp day, the Wizards have only gone with one session each day since Saturday. A second practice has been scheduled, but head coach Randy Wittman  had said it will only be used if not enough was accomplished in the first practice.

So far Wittman is pleased with the progress, but Wednesday will not be easy.

On to the Wizards Report and our focus is Eric Maynor. He is settling into life with the Wizards and that means as a former VCU star playing at George Mason. In addition he is trying to figure out who is faster, John Wall or Russell Westbrook. Maynor was Westbrook's backup for more than three seasons in Oklahoma City.

And the complete story so far with Glenn Consor.

Finally today the latest on Trevor Ariza.
